About me

My name is Ismael, or Isma, and I specialize in video game development, primarily as a Lead Game Developer, with over 10 years of experience in the industry, including time as a Technical Lead.

My main tool is Unity3D with C#, but I am a flexible and capable developer, having adapted to multiple platforms and technologies throughout my career, from PlayCanvas and Meta Horizon Worlds to Flash/ActionScript in the early days.

I have delivered projects for high-profile clients like Cartoon Network and Poki, shipped multiplayer experiences on Meta Horizon Worlds, and contributed to two Steam‑published games.

Beyond gameplay, I enjoy the engineering side of development, building internal tooling, custom Unity editors, and VSCode extensions that improve how teams work.

I am passionate about understanding how systems work, and in my free time I often build tools that help me improve my own process.
